Description
We're looking for an experienced Regional Driver Development Coach to play a critical role in ensuring our drivers operate safely, compliantly, and efficiently across our diverse divisional fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the hiring process with pre-employment assessments and deliver a comprehensive 3-day Driver Induction aligned with standards and legislation.
- Provide regular refresher and additional mode training to enhance driver skills and customer experience.
- Maintain accurate driver competence and training records using Express Class.
- Offer reassessment and retraining for drivers following incidents.
- Regularly analyse driving data with management to identify and address support needs.
- Conduct targeted support for drivers requiring improvements in actions or behaviours.
- Enhance training delivery, optimise driver learning, and pursue personal professional development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of HGV driving experience, including multiple HGV modes.
- Valid Class 1 HGV licence, DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Valid ADR qualification with & Waste vacumn tanker experience.
- Proven experience in driver training, and or transport roles.
- Organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Strong working knowledge of driver legislation and health & safety requirements.
