Senior Agile Dev Team Member III (ITSO)
Our client is one of the United States' largest insurers, providing a wide range of insurance and financial services products with gross written premium well over US$25 Billion (P&C). This senior-level role focuses on overseeing the design, development, and testing phases of high-impact business applications.
You will play a critical part in understanding customer business processes after thoroughly engaging with stakeholders, ensuring that technical designs align with business objectives, and enhancing application support. Furthermore, you will lead quality assurance efforts, providing invaluable insights through impact analysis of changes across various system components, with a focus on maintaining a holistic view of the application ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement enhancements to the Guidewire PolicyCenter application.
- Collaborate with SME/Architects/Product Owners to translate requirements into Technical / Integration Design Document (IDD).
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Gosu and Java.
- Perform Unit testing, integration testing and production shakeout validation to ensure quality and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and provide ongoing support.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Requirements
Minimum Required: 4-6 yrs
