We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Business Development Representative to join the growing Temporal team in Bengaluru, India. Our BDRs will work hand in hand with the Sales Team to generate leads and build customer pipelines.
As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for proactively outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market Temporal to potential customers. You will discover opportunities from leads and set appointments from those leads. You will use strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments.
To be successful in this role, you will need to understand the Temporal OSS and Cloud solutions enough to provide high-level introductions. You will leverage taught sales techniques to maximize customer interactions. You will log, track, and maintain outbound activity. You will work closely with the Sales Team and attend customer meetings as required.
We are looking for self-starters with a passion for technology and people. You will be the architect of a growing team, defining and iterating on processes.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in prospecting roles. They will have excellent in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills. They will be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization. They will have the ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients.
