As a Staff Engineer, you will lead the coordination and execution of all technical activities throughout the lifecycle of a sales opportunity. You will work with customers to better understand their product development requirements and what they need to improve their performance metrics. You will address application-specific design and simulation requirements by utilizing the relevant product technologies and platforms that best meet the customer's needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the coordination and execution of all technical activities throughout the lifecycle of a sales opportunity
- Working with customers to better understand their product development requirements and what they need to improve their performance metrics
- Addressing application-specific design and simulation requirements by utilizing the relevant product technologies and platforms that best meet the customer's needs
- Supporting the development of differentiating simulation solutions using the Synopsys platform and our products
- Expanding your expertise and becoming a recognized expert in your field of application
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, electrical engineering or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment. You will have demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages. You will be a logical problem-solver, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English.
You will be part of a highly skilled Applications Engineering team specializing in communications technology. The team is dedicated to supporting customers, advancing product innovation, and driving technical excellence across Synopsys' communications portfolio.
