Description
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our healthcare providers. Your duties will include preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, and communicating with patients and families about their care.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs, updating medical histories, and obtaining necessary paperwork
- Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures, such as injections and minor surgeries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans
- Communicate with patients and families about their care, including explaining diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up instructions
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent experience preferred
- Certification as a medical assistant (CMA) or registered medical assistant (RMA) preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
