Facilities Specialist - Furniture Move Team

We are seeking a Facilities Specialist to join our Furniture Move Team. This role is based at our Facilities Warehouse located at 755 Jefferson Street, Atlanta, GA, and requires working 5 days a week in the office.

As a Facilities Specialist, you will support our warehouse operations, transport and install materials and furniture, and respond efficiently to employee and leader facilities-related requests.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow all safety protocols for working in our warehouse and other locations.
• Manage inventory by maintaining efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Conduct physical counts and reconcile with our data storage system to monitor inventory levels.
• Pick up, deliver, and install materials and furniture for remodeling and miscellaneous jobs.
• Perform quality reviews of work performed by team members and contractors.
• Ensure efficient transportation of materials and furniture to minimize travel time.
• Assemble, disassemble, and make minor repairs to system furniture.
• Train supplemental staff when required.
• Support facility management with employee moves and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of warehouse experience, light carpentry, and installation of office and systems furniture.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift operation certification and product-specific installation certifications are a plus.
• Light carpentry/mechanical experience, ability to drive a box truck or light delivery vehicle, experience working in a fast-paced environment, and being organized and customer-focused are preferred.

Additional Requirements for Fleet Vehicle Use:

• Must have at least one year of verifiable driving experience.
• Valid driver's license for the class vehicle to be operated.
• No revocation of driving privileges within the 36 months prior to application.
• No convictions of major traffic violations within the 12 months prior to application.
