Engineering Manager I, Innovative Ad Formats

We're looking for an Engineering Manager I to lead a high-impact team building and supporting Pinterest's mid-funnel ad products. You will drive the technical direction and execution needed to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead an engineering team delivering mid-funnel ad products end to end
• Drive initiatives to apply AI across mid-funnel ad products
• Champion AI adoption in developer workflows
• Use AI to synthesize complex inputs into clear insights
• Serve as the engineering owner for this workstream
• Actively contribute code and lead implementation of key projects
• Build and maintain a healthy, high-trust team culture
• Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience building complex and user-facing products
• 1+ years of experience leading or managing engineering teams
• Demonstrated experience using AI to improve speed and quality
• Strong track record of critically evaluating AI-assisted work
• High integrity and ownership
• Strong hands-on technical background in ads or similarly high-scale domains
• Exceptional collaboration skills with cross-functional partners
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent experience
