Description
This role involves solving maintenance-related problems with minimal disruption to production. You will perform all maintenance and repair work in the plant or grounds, troubleshoot issues, and maintain up-to-date documentation of all equipment. Additionally, you will actively participate in the Preventative Maintenance Program and downtime reduction process, participate in maintenance-related training, and make recommendations to improve equipment efficiency and cost reduction.
The ideal candidate will have formal education in a maintenance-related field, a minimum of five years of experience as a maintenance mechanic, and a millwright license in Ontario. You should also have experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and tools, machine shop equipment, and mechanical systems.
