Description

At tonies, we're looking for a People Operations Manager to join our global team. As the organisational backbone of our People & Culture team, you'll be responsible for ensuring a first-class experience for our employees in the UK, France, Australia, and New Zealand. This includes managing all administrative steps from the initial contract to offboarding, maintaining salary and benefit data, and working with external partners for payroll accounting.

Your tasks will also include coordinating our Buddy Program and newcomer meetings to ensure new employees feel welcome from day one. You'll be a 'power user' for our HRIS (Personio) and ensure our digital personnel files are always up to date and compliant with all legal requirements. Familiarity with Notion is a plus.

In this role, you'll have a drive to make things better and challenge existing workflows, reducing manual effort and leveraging the potential of automation and AI to make our work more efficient. You'll also be responsible for expanding our self-service resources so the team can find answers to HR questions quickly and independently.

We're looking for someone with solid experience in HR administration and a good understanding of employment and labor law in the UK and France. You should be proficient in payroll accounting and have a passion for working with modern HR systems. If you're a quick learner and enjoy ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.

As a People Operations Manager, you'll be part of a truly international community where every voice is heard. You'll collaborate across departmental and country borders, and we value connection and celebrate wins together, no matter the time zone. We offer a competitive salary and a range of comprehensive benefits tailored to your specific location.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to communicate confidently in both French and English, and have a problem-solving mentality. They'll be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, work conscientiously, and manage to juggle different tasks and deadlines with ease.

If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of our employees and want to join a dynamic and innovative company, we'd love to hear from you!
