At Honda, we're looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead the delivery and operations of our dealer and field platforms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple software development teams to deliver reliable, secure, and cost-effective applications across sales, service, parts, training, and financing. Your expertise will shape the technology roadmap and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with SOX and cybersecurity standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and driving the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Dealer and Field platforms
- Building trusted relationships across North America, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver IT solutions
- Achieving unit objectives across schedule, budget, and quality commitments while ensuring reliable service operations
- Leading a high-performing IT application development organization of experienced technical professionals
As a successful candidate, you will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology with a strong foundation in application development, integration, and enterprise platforms. You will also have at least 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple technical teams, including developers, architects, and business systems analysts.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization. Experience with Dealer Communication Systems (DCS) or similar enterprise portal platforms is desirable.
This is an onsite job with one remote workday per week possible with prior departmental approval. The position is not eligible for relocation assistance or work visa sponsorship.
