Description

As a physical therapist at Sanford Health and Good Samaritan Society, you will diagnose and treat individuals with conditions that limit their ability to move and work. Your goal will be to improve their quality of life by alleviating pain and increasing physical function.

This role requires flexibility, collaboration, out-of-the-box thinking, and problem-solving to provide patients/residents with the best care possible. You will work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including the Woodruff Centre and the Marshfield Medical Centre - Minocqua.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning, organising, and delivering physical therapy programmes to help patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities
  • Documenting patient information for evaluation
  • Educating patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home
  • Demonstrating documentation in accordance with departmental guidelines and meeting all regulatory requirements
  • Analysing and recording the therapeutic progress of patients/residents; recommending necessary adjustments
  • Following guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety procedures in the therapy process

You will work collaboratively with a large team of physical therapists and have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients/residents and their families.
