Description
We are seeking a Compliance Monitoring Officer to assist our Head of Compliance and Compliance Manager in fulfilling the Compliance Monitoring Programme. As a Compliance Monitoring Officer, you will assess management, functions, and locations' adherence to Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and other relevant European and Global rules and regulations.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Compliance Manager and support the Head of Compliance and Compliance Manager on compliance monitoring matters. You will also provide holiday or sickness cover to other compliance team members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in identifying Compliance risks and maintaining the Compliance Risk Register
- Delivering FCE's Compliance Monitoring Programme and producing time-bound compliance monitoring reports
- Providing technical expertise and advice on control deficiencies and corrective actions
- Reviewing compliance-related policy letters, policy statements, and procedures
- Preparing input into monthly data packs for Regulatory Compliance Committees
- Maintaining open dialogue with FCE business units to provide Compliance advice
- Overseeing monitoring and closure of reported Compliance OICs, GAO comments, Operational Risk Events, or Regulatory Breaches
- Participating in cross-functional teams to assess and advise on regulatory compliance issues
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and expertise in navigating, interpreting, and understanding FCA and PRA rulebooks, exceptional organisational skills, outstanding oral and written communication skills, and good technical knowledge of products and services offered by FCE and Ford Motor Company.
