For over 30 years, Alexion has been dedicated to transforming the lives of people living with rare diseases. We are part of AstraZeneca, a global biopharmaceutical company. As a sort of Senior Director, US Marketing, IgAN, you will lead the US launch and brand strategy for the IgAN indication. Your expertise will help define the brand platform, customer strategy, and integrated go-to-market plan based on market, customer, and patient insights. You will develop and execute the external engagement strategy, building advocacy and partnership with key opinion leaders, patient advocacy organisations, and other stakeholders. Your goal will be to inform strategy and accelerate adoption. You will also translate strategy into high-impact omnichannel plans and materials, leading execution across personal and non-personal promotion, including digital and social media. You will continuously optimise using KPIs, dashboards, insights, and test-and-learn. Additionally, you will lead integrated business planning for the brand, aligning across partners, including Global, Sales, Medical, Market Access, Strategic Accounts, Patient Support Services, Legal, and Compliance. You will represent the US commercial perspective in global forums and strategic discussions. You will also lead the US IgAN marketing team, including acquiring and developing marketing talent for current and future needs, building succession pipelines and critical capabilities.

You will need to have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. You will require 10 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with deep understanding of the US pharmaceutical market and experience in rare diseases highly desirable. You will need strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, proven ability to lead highly matrixed portfolio teams and influence without direct authority. You will also need excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing abilities, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
