Group Accountant

We are seeking a technically strong Group Accountant to join our Finance team, providing accurate and timely reporting of Vista Group's financial position to meet reporting and legal compliance obligations.

The Group Accountant role involves accounting for an operating subsidiary, financial management reporting, assistance with annual and interim statutory financial reporting, financial administration, support for cash management/treasury, and transfer pricing calculations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and implementing projects to improve processes and working with other finance team members
• Preparing statutory and monthly management accounts for a multi-national group entity
• Conducting consolidations and experience with Navision or similar group ERP system
• Advanced Excel spreadsheeting skills and experience with foreign currency transactions and currency translations
• Experience in systems improvement, including design and implementation of new systems

Requirements:

• NZICA CA qualification or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in a CA or commercial environment
• Exposure to NZX and IFRS reporting requirements
• Experience working with foreign currency transactions and currency translations
