Head of Corporate Systems & Business Platforms

As the Head of Corporate Systems & Business Platforms, you will be the foundational architect of Ford Energy's digital backbone. You will lead the strategy, selection, and scaling of the integrated platforms that power our core business. This is a leadership role where you will transform corporate functions into a high-velocity Product Organisation, ensuring our internal systems are as innovative and reliable as the energy storage systems we ship.

Responsibilities

Strategic Platform Leadership

• Define and execute the long-term strategy for Ford Energy's corporate technology stack, ensuring it scales seamlessly from launch to high-volume manufacturing.
• Build and lead a modern Product Organisation that treats internal corporate systems as high-value products, prioritising user experience, automation, and data integrity.
• Partner with manufacturing service providers and Ford Motor Company stakeholders to orchestrate seamless integrations between corporate platforms and production environments.
• Act as a strategic partner to Finance, HR, and Operations leadership to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.

Technical Excellence & Operations

• Lead the end-to-end deployment of enterprise-grade solutions (including SAP) and custom-built applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), championing modern engineering practices, CI/CD, and robust testing frameworks.
• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery strategies for all mission-critical corporate platforms.

Team Building & Growth

• Recruit, mentor, and retain a world-class team of product managers, engineers, and systems analysts.
• Manage the department P&L, including software licensing, vendor negotiations, and resource allocation to maximise ROI.
