Our Hardware Engineers at Synopsys are responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge semiconductor solutions. They work on intricate tasks such as chip architecture, circuit design, and verification to ensure the efficiency and reliability of semiconductor products. These engineers play a crucial role in advancing technology and enabling innovations in various industries.
You are a motivated and creative Hardware Engineer with strong hands-on and theoretical experience in the design of high-speed, highly complex digital printed circuit boards. You will join a team responsible for the design and development of our high-end emulators. You demonstrate strong teamwork skills, a good level of autonomy, and keen attention to detail. You will be expected to explore new technologies to enhance our current and future products.
Key responsibilities include:
Partner closely with the System Architect to define and author product specification documents.
Schematic design and PCB development of the electronic boards composing the system.
Execute electrical simulations, including signal integrity and power distribution network (PDN) analysis, to ensure robust and high performance designs.
Working closely with mechanical and thermal development leads to ensure full system level consistency and optimal integration across disciplines.
The impact you will have includes enhancing the performance of Zebu designs, driving improvements in hardware emulation, supporting the development and adoption of next-generation technologies, and strengthening Synopsys' reputation as a global leader in EDA and hardware emulation.
Requirements include a Master's degree in Electronics, 5 years of experience in electronic board and/or product development, knowledge of electronic CAD tools, and proficiency in Ansys Simulation.
