The Power Platform & SharePoint Senior Developer will lead the design and implementation as well as support of applications using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint technologies. This role requires independent execution and leadership of moderate to highly complex Power Platform and SharePoint solutions, including translating business requirements into technical implementations, exercising judgment within established standards, and resolving non-routine issues with minimal oversight. The role supports multiple users and projects, interacts directly with business stakeholders, and has project-level impact beyond individual tasks.
Key responsibilities include leading development of Power Apps (Canvas) and Power Automate workflows to support business processes, correlating with design and other parts of HDMA and AHM-IT to understand requirements and use cases, configuring and customizing SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and forms, enhancing existing applications and workflows based on defined requirements, developing basic integrations between Power Apps, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 services, managing project timeline, schedule, and output, providing guidance to requestors on agile solution development, and performing and leading unit testing and support system testing activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years of relevant experience, including SharePoint and/or Power Platform, experience in developing Power Apps, Canvas apps and Power Automate flows, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to comfortably navigate uncertainty, effective technical documentation and communication presentation abilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience installing and configuring SharePoint solutions, and general knowledge in designing and implementing SharePoint work flows, event handlers, Site Columns, Content Types, Custom Document Libraries, Lists, Site Definitions, Timer Jobs, Master Pages using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer.
