Description
As a Function Developer for Active Chassis and Propulsion Systems, you will be responsible for implementing algorithms in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment, writing specifications for software component development, and performing design of control algorithms in the field of active chassis systems and electric vehicle powertrains systems. You will also test and document software components, deal with the design of concepts and presentation of results, and work in a team environment with other project teams and suppliers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing algorithms in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment
- Writing specifications for software component development
- Performing design of control algorithms in the field of active chassis systems and electric vehicle powertrains systems
- Testing and documenting software components
- Dealing with the design of concepts and presentation of results
Requirements include:
- A degree in Information Technologies, Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering, or a relevant educational background
- Good knowledge of the MATLAB/SIMULINK/STATEFLOW environment and other MATLAB toolboxes
- Knowledge of chassis systems and/or vehicle dynamics is an advantage
- Knowledge of other programming languages (Python, C++) is an advantage
- Previous work experience in the field of e-mobility (control of powertrain of an electric vehicle, control of active chassis systems) and automotive electronics (control units, buses, communication protocols, diagnostics) is an advantage
- Knowledge of development standards according to (A)SPICE, ISO26262, MISRA is an advantage
- Knowledge of automotive development tools from dSPACE/Vector/ETAS) is an advantage
- Fluency in English and/or German
