AI Builder

EarnIn is seeking an AI Builder to make AI-native operations a core capability. The successful candidate will build agents, automations, and integrations that power how EarnIn hires, develops, and scales its people and operations.

The Mountain View base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$231,000, plus equity and benefits. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office work 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy agents that automate high-volume People and Operations workflows, such as approvals, reporting, intake, and reconciliation.
• Automate recruiting screening, scheduling, and pipeline workflows, and build reporting and AI-powered insights for real-time visibility into recruiting metrics.
• Create lightweight internal apps to replace manual spreadsheet and email-based processes.
• Establish guardrails and review loops to keep automated decisions auditable and compliant.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLM integration patterns, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, tool/function calling, and agent architectures.
• Proficiency working across the stack when needed.
• Experience with MCP, LangChain, or comparable orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with open-source LLM models.
• Strong opinions about developer experience and a track record of building useful tools for other engineers.
• Ability to translate complex technical systems into clear solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
• Thoughtfulness about privacy, governance, and responsible AI, especially in an HR context.
