Description
You will be responsible for analysing the demands of components for certain prototype vehicles and ensuring the timely ordering of these components.
Monitoring the on-time delivery in the development warehouse and handling of queries represents a main focus of your activities.
You will act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and communicate any technical specifications and supply problems which may impact on business operations.
You will be responsible for requesting the quotation from the supplier while building, maintaining and managing a good supplier relationship and keeping up good communications.
You will offer support in the identification of interim solutions in cooperation with the development department in the event of the supplier's lack of delivery capacity.
You will have to do weekly reports directly to the customer.
You will collaborate with international project teams.
You will ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics/business/commercial or equivalent degree are preferred.
Your previous working experience in planning or procurement in the automotive environment would be beneficial.
You have good knowledge of SAP or other integrated ERP systems, which would be beneficial.
You have advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (with a focus on Excel).
You speak German and English fluently.
You have good communication, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with strong demonstrated problem solving abilities.
You are able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with team, stakeholders, and suppliers.
You are able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets.
You are able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations.
