We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Plastic Surgery team in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a valued member of our team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting.
Job Summary: The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' health and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and coordinate care delivery, promoting health and a safe environment
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHRs)
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols
- Provide patient education and support
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program
- Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Typically requires 2 years of experience in clinical nursing
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
