Description
The Build Engineer is responsible for the hands-on assembly and integration of motion simulator products, ensuring builds are completed safely, accurately, and on time. Working as part of a bay team under a Build Team Lead, Lead Build Engineer or Senior Build Engineer, the Build Engineer applies their skills to turn designs and components into complete, operational systems that meet company design and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include assembling components on existing, repeat systems where the technical challenges are understood, taking ownership of assigned tasks, managing time and priorities effectively, positively participating in training and mentoring opportunities, and working collaboratively with other build engineers and technicians within the bay.
The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing wiring looms, soldering, crimping or panel/machinery builds, hold an NVQ level 3 in Aerospace or Motorsport or an apprenticeship in another relevant industry, and possess strong knowledge of electrical safety and regulatory compliance.
