Description
We are looking for a Chief Security Officer to build and lead a unified, modern security organization. Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, you will own the holistic security posture of the company, integrating the core disciplines of Physical Security, Industrial Security, and Counterintelligence into a single, agile function. You will serve as a key strategic partner to our Information Security organization to ensure a seamless defense against all threats.
This role demands a leader who can move at the speed of our mission, making pragmatic, risk-based decisions that enable the business while ensuring uncompromising protection.
Key responsibilities will include developing and executing a holistic security strategy, leading a unified security organization, partnering with Information Security, leading internal investigations, owning risk management, ensuring mission compliance, championing a company-wide culture of security, and driving operational effectiveness.
Required qualifications include 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in multifaceted security roles, proven experience as a CSO or in a comparable senior security leadership role at a public technology or defense company, or extensive experience in a senior security leadership role within the military or intelligence community.
Preferred qualifications include experience securing complex hardware R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and global test site environments, experience in a high-growth, venture-backed technology company, and a pragmatic, first-principles approach to security that prioritizes risk and impact over rigid, compliance-only frameworks.
