As a key member of our Technology Engineering Practice, you will design and engineer software with the customer/user experience as a key objective. You will actively contribute to the practice by sharing subject matter expertise, best practice, and learnings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design and engineer software with the customer/user experience as a key objective.
  • Actively contribute to Technology Engineering Practice by sharing subject matter expertise from their area of specialism, best practice, and learnings.
  • Drive adherence to all standards and policies within their area of Technology Engineering.
  • Deliver and support data-related infrastructure and architecture to optimise data storage and consumption across the bank.
  • Design and develop applications for internal and external users focusing on the interface and front-end usability of the application.
  • Engineer and implement security measures for the protection of internal and external systems, networks, products, and services.
  • Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimise variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data.
  • Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service.

Requirements include:

  • In-depth functional and non-functional knowledge of cloud platforms and native services, specifically GCP and ALI.
  • In-depth knowledge of container-based services and microservices architectures.
  • In-depth understanding of modern development and associated tooling, integration, technology patterns, and practices to design, build, and continuously improve an automated end-to-end delivery.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, modern deployment, and release methodologies, including automated configuration, and provisioning at scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to positively influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
