Description
Mercury is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to support its Internal Audit function in executing the audit plan. The successful candidate will perform hands-on IT and security audits, assess Mercury's technology risks and controls, and work cross-functionally to improve Mercury's control environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in identifying, analyzing, and assessing IT, cybersecurity, and data security-related risks throughout Mercury
- Scoping and planning multiple audits across Mercury products and operations
- Conducting process walkthroughs and executing audit testing to confirm the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls
- Assessing compliance with Mercury's compliance obligations
- Socializing, documenting, and reporting audit issues identified
- Collaborating with teams to develop appropriate action plans, track audit issue remediation, and conduct issue follow-up testing
The ideal candidate will have experience scoping and planning new, complex audits, be comfortable conducting walkthroughs and creating audit test plans, and have a working knowledge of laws, regulations, and risk management standards for financial services.
Mercury offers a competitive salary and equity package, with target new hire base salary ranges of:
- US employees in New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $132,400 - $165,500 USD
- US employees outside of New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $119,200 - $149,000 USD
- Canadian employees (any location): CAD $125,100 - $156,400
