Air Planning Associate

The Air Planning Associate role is critical to Flexport's mission to make global trade easy for everyone. You will work directly with partners in your region to support end customers in achieving their logistics goals.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day supply operations, transload, trucking, and warehouse activities within your region.
• Analyse data to rate subcontractor performance and inform performance management initiatives.
• Execute booking and documentation processes with carriers.
• Troubleshoot shipments and handle exceptions.
• Contribute to developing and implementing procedures and systems to enhance Flexport operations.
• Maintain accurate data and systems to meet KPIs.
• Collaborate with account managers and customs teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and suggest process improvements.
• Provide customer service and follow up on customer requests.
• Inform senior managers of irregularities and provide feedback on subcontractor standards.
• Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
• Handle customer statistics and reports.
• Support teammates and take on additional tasks when needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in air operations or related roles in freight forwarding/logistics.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English; Chinese is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, structured, and eager to learn global supply chain operations.
• Customer-focused mindset with prompt and professional responses to customer needs.
