Integration Engineer (US)

Overview

Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform, seeks an Integration Engineer to work on high-visibility projects with strategic users. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise to help customers accelerate their knowledge, solution design, and integrations with Stripe.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Implementation teams to drive client engagement, customer wins, and revenue.
• Plan and execute integration engineering end-to-end, from high-level architecture to code.
• Communicate technical concepts and explain how Stripe works from product features and API architecture perspectives.
• Educate users and the developer community about Stripe's value proposition, best practices, and new technical developments.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for large users' and partners' technical teams.
• Stay updated on new Stripe technologies and software products, showcasing technical thought leadership through whitepapers, conferences, and industry events.
• Provide recommendations, feedback, and best practices to product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a Software Engineering/Integration Engineering role.
• Comfortable with code-level debugging (Stripe code and user code).
• Ability to discuss technical concepts and explain Stripe's functionality.
• User-first approach and empathy with users.
• Confidence and comfort working with customers.
• Strong generalist technical experience.
