Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Quality Analyst to join our Data Products team. As a Senior Data Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our data outputs. This includes designing and running pre/post-release comparisons across key attributes, identifying and documenting issues missed by automated tests, and making disposition recommendations for each issue.
In addition to data output validation, you will also be responsible for bug investigation and root cause analysis. This will involve reviewing and prioritizing DPQ Jira issues, querying Snowflake to trace anomalies to source, and producing clear reports outlining the issue, evidence, likely cause, and next steps for both technical and non-technical audiences.
You will also be responsible for preparing the weekly publication review package, which includes compiling a weekly record of which data pipelines ran, their completion status, any anomalies in run time or output volume, and a comparison against expected behavior.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in data quality, data analysis, or analytics engineering, preferably in healthcare or a related field. They will also have strong SQL skills, experience with Snowflake, and the ability to work through ambiguous issues from signal to root cause.
This is a senior-level role that requires a high degree of autonomy and independence. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
