Description
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department. You will collaborate with medical providers and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management
- Performing procedures, monitoring, and documenting care in the patient medical record
- Responding promptly to patient requests and striving to anticipate patient needs
- Teaching patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures
- Preparing patients and families for future self-management
Qualifications required:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
- 1 year of experience
