Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist in our FICC Tech business.

Principal responsibilities include:

• Clarifying requirements from key business stakeholders and sponsors in an organised way
• Planning project activities with a clear schedule
• Conducting project activities, including solution communication, setting up test environments, and implementing production releases on schedule
• Providing support for production issues if any

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 10 years of Java development experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in verbal and written English
• Strong customer focus and commitment to delivery
• Excellent problem-solving and service support skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to deliver high-quality results under tight schedules and high pressure
• Quick learner

Additional skills that would be beneficial include:

• Excellent understanding of a functional programming language
• Understanding of FX domain knowledge
• Experience working in a global team with different cultures
• Strong focus and dedication to providing a stable service to customers
