Mexican Spanish Games Linguist

As a Mexican Spanish Games Linguist at Keywords Studios, you will translate in-game content from English into Mexican Spanish. This is a full-time, in-house role for a client-specific project expected to last 12 months, with potential for longer commitment.

The successful candidate will have native-level Mexican Spanish skills, excellent verbal and written linguistic abilities in both Mexican Spanish and English, and a passion for the games industry. You will be responsible for:

• Translating, reviewing, and performing linguist tasks for in-game and non-in-game content to a high-quality standard
• Ensuring the best possible quality for all linguistic aspects of the translations assigned to you
• Collaborating with other linguists on the project

Requirements include:

• Native-level Mexican Spanish speaker
• Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills in both Mexican Spanish and English
• Passion for the games industry
• Educational qualification in linguistics or equivalent experience
• Experience in translation, copywriting, or linguistics
• Self-motivation and ability to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
