Supplier Quality Engineer Associate (Summer 2026)

Astranis is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Associate to join its team for a 12-week internship. As a Supplier Quality Engineer Associate, you will work on solving quality issues with suppliers, implement new processes, and support the daily operations of the team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drive failure mode and root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Design quality requirements and specifications.
• Outline inspection and testing plans, and define re-processing and repair methods.
• Monitor suppliers' performance and purchased parts' status, and communicate status to management.
• Support manufacturing process development at supplier sites.

Requirements include:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a similar discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Bonus skills include experience in manufacturing, quality management systems, inspection methods, metrology, and instrumentation. The base salary for this position is $1,925 per week.
