Your key responsibilities will include:
- Architecting multiple solutions simultaneously with the help of GD Architect and GD Lead,
- Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users and various teams, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes;
- Investigating problem areas and following the software development lifecycle;
- Documenting and demonstrating solutions by developing documentation, writing blogs, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code;
- Preparing and installing solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming;
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Have at least 15-18 years of experience in Core Java, Web Technologies, and Payments and Banking domain;
- Be an individual who can implement the next generation of Global Disbursements architecture that will leverage microservices and cloud technologies to enable efficient access to highly optimised databases;
- Have buttressed knowledge of Payments and Banking domain, creating design and development of database applications, web-based applications, APIs, and DevOps and CICD;
- Proven expertise in Core Java, Database-Oracle, Linux, MQ, WMB, WAS, WLP, Knowledge of https and Security Protocols, Ansible, Liquibase, Jenkins, Checkmarx, NexusIQ, AppDynamics, Splunk, Co-ordination and Communication with multiple IT teams in HSBC;
Nice to Have:
- Kubernetes, Spring Ability to optimise Application and database performance. Experience with cloud technologies a plus;
- Strong knowledge and experience in Agile discipline and the ability put the discipline into practice;
- Ability to troubleshoot any infrastructure related issues independently;
- Deliver GD’s Modernization agenda successfully, that’s laden with new microservices, PayOS enabled architecture and will provide a sustainable framework to move away from legacy and mainframe-based service;
- Hands-on exposure to AI-enabled automation for a payments product platform, with the ability to identify and automate repetitive operational and delivery tasks;
- Capable of delivering customer centric, bespoke solutions that will serve specific customer requirements-such as 24*7 cross-border payments disbursements with safe-storing and further finetuning it to have minimum possible E2E turnaround time.
