Description
TGR Haas F1 Team, a stalwart of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, is seeking a Stores Operator to support its operations in Banbury, UK. This fixed-term role, lasting 5 months, will contribute to the team's departmental and organisational objectives, focusing on day-to-day operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
The successful candidate will report to the Stores & Inventory Manager and be responsible for:
- Receiving and verifying parts, ensuring accurate data entry into the ERP system
- Conducting accurate receipting and picking to guarantee accurate stock control and accountability for stock movements
- Understanding technical drawings to match physical products against delivery notes
- Ensuring part marking and serialization meet company standards
- Picking against demand to fulfil requirements within stores
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
- Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure high standards of service and performance
The ideal candidate will have:
- A GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role or motorsport environment (preferably Formula 1)
- A valid driver's license and meeting liability/casualty insurance requirements
- Good computer skills, ideally with experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Excel, Power Bi, Outlook, and Teams
- Knowledge of race car parts and assemblies, including vendors, part functions, serialization, and part numbers

Key Responsibilities
- Travel to events to work under the direction of the Stores & Inventory Manager
- Create an auditable and accurate store department
- Receive parts, ensuring delivery notes, purchase orders, and physical quantities align
- Understand technical drawings to match physical products against delivery notes
- Ensure part marking and serialization meet company standards
- Pick against demand to fulfil requirements within stores
- Flag items not located
- Manage rolling stock of proprietary parts and flag demand requirements
- Work staggered shift patterns
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Support loading and unloading of freight requirements
- Follow all safety regulations
Person Specification
- Essential Qualifications & Experience:
