The Brazilian Portuguese Game Linguist role involves translating in-game content from English into Brazilian Portuguese. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity, and a passion for games.
Responsibilities:
- Translate, review, and perform linguist tasks for in-game and non-in-game content from English to Brazilian Portuguese to a high-quality standard
- Ensure the best possible quality is achieved for all linguistic aspects of the translations assigned
- Collaborate with other linguists on the project
Requirements:
- Native-level Brazilian Portuguese speaker
- Passion for the games industry
- Educational qualification in linguistics or equivalent experience
- Experience in translation, copywriting, or linguistics
- Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills in both Brazilian Portuguese and English
- Self-motivated and able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
