Hybrid Therapist LUSH Spa Training Programme: VTCT Level 3 Swedish Body Massage - Glasgow Spa *Internal applicants only*

Lush Spa is seeking internal applicants to train and qualify in Swedish Body Massage as part of their LUSH Spa Training Programme.

The successful candidate will embark on a VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Body Massage qualification course, culminating in a hybrid role as a Lush Spa Therapist.

This unique opportunity allows therapists to work within the spa and drive sales and business from the shop floor, spa reception, or elsewhere within the Spa Store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete self-study topics, including health and safety, client care and communication, and Swedish Body Massage units
• Participate in theory training online and practical training onsite in the Lush Spa Training Centre
• Attend compulsory Lush Spa Training sessions

Requirements:

• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• At least 3 months of experience working within Lush
• No prior massage qualifications necessary, but a keen interest in Anatomy & Physiology is beneficial
• Availability for 9 weeks of training
• Embody Lush's five-star standards, customer service, and ethics
• Organised, resourceful, and adaptable with basic IT skills and a proactive approach to self-development

Training Schedule:

• Self-led theory training: commencing Monday, 7th September
• Teacher-led theory training: commencing Monday, 5th October (Monday - Friday, 9am - 2pm for 3 weeks)
• Practical training: commencing Monday, 26th October 2026 (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm for 3 weeks)
• Compulsory Lush Spa Training: 16th November 2026 (Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm for 3-4 weeks)
