Senior Software Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Principal responsibilities:

• Support IT Service Owner to manage several applications of the bank.
• Familiar with application support technology and process, work with both onshore and offshore engineering team, infrastructure team and security team to maintain a safe, stable and strong application set.
• Implement the regulatory reporting technology solutions and drive for the application architecture build up.
• Supporting business initiatives without compromising standards of internal control such that operational risk is not increased beyond acceptable parameters.
• Be the partnership of business lines to understand their business aspirations, target and provide innovative solution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in major of Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related fields.
• Knowledge on banking regulatory environment (NFRA, PBOC, SAFE etc) and software projects will be a strong advantage.
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) in both Mandarin and English.
• PMP or Alicloud related certifications are preferred.
• Solid skills in the business and data analysis.
• A track record of building, maintaining and improving application systems with sufficient knowledge on non-functional requirements.
• Technical expertise for the design, development, implementation and maintenance IT systems.
• Experience on IT vendor management and provide effective control to ensure the delivery of projects on time and in budget with appropriate quality.
• Experience of IT project management, familiar with various project management methodology, e.g. SDLC, Agile, etc.
• A successful track record of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success.
• Self-awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
