Compensation

The base pay for this role is $230K – $385K, with generous equity, performance-related bonuses, and the following benefits.

About the Team

We're building an AI software engineer with Codex. Our team combines research, engineering, design, and product to develop the Codex agent harness and product.

About the Role

You'll help build the enterprise control plane that makes Codex secure, governable, and trustworthy at scale. You'll design and operate backend systems for enterprise administrators to manage Codex usage.

Responsibilities

• Build backend systems to protect enterprise customer data
• Design and operate the Codex enterprise control plane
• Develop policy and governance systems
• Create reliable, observable, and scalable services
• Partner with product, security, and customer-facing teams

Requirements

• Strong backend software engineering fundamentals
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages
• Experience with security, identity, authorization, or enterprise governance
• Understanding of enterprise foundations
