Description
We're seeking a Staff Solutions Architect to join our New Logo team in the Eastern region. As a key customer-facing technical leader, you'll work directly with prospects and customers to tailor Temporal's platform to their needs and showcase its technical advantages. Your role is crucial in positioning Temporal against alternative technologies and fostering an environment within customer engineering organisations to increase the adoption and expansion of Temporal in production environments.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with prospects to determine if their applications fit Temporal's platform well, educating customers and prospects on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal's platform and cloud service, and managing and nurturing relationships with technical decision-makers within customer organisations.
To succeed in this role, you'll need exceptional technical communication skills, a deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices, and proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal's supported languages.
Additionally, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, assisting with scoping and sizing opportunities and offering guidance on technical fit and challenges.
Nice to haves include a willingness to learn new technical topics, the ability to come up to speed without sales-specific training, and partnering well with engineers working at customer organisations.
