Description
We are seeking an exceptional Software Verification Manager to lead our software verification team within the Data Processing Unit (DPU) SW Group.
In this role, you will manage a team of skilled verification engineers, providing technical leadership and overseeing the execution of verification plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software verification engineers, promoting technical excellence and professional growth.
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on mentorship, driving the creation of comprehensive verification plans and automated environments using Python.
- Lead end-to-end feature validation, ensuring robust hardware-software interoperability for high-end hardware and software.
- Conduct code reviews, define engineering procedures, and identify, analyze, and report software defects.
- Drive improvements in performance, quality, and stability for software acceleration solutions, collaborating with R&D.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across multiple engineering organizations worldwide.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a managerial or team lead position, with a proven track record of leading engineering teams.
- 8+ years of overall experience in software development or verification, with a strong technical background.
- Expertise in Python, particularly in testing complex embedded systems or firmware-integrated environments.
- Strong verification skills with experience in developing modern software testing and QA automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of networking and compute infrastructure (servers, switches, routers, TCP/UDP).
- Familiarity with Linux distributions (CentOS/RedHat, Ubuntu) and experience in software debugging and problem-solving.
- Understanding of how to optimize environments for performance and deploy infrastructure based on innovative technologies and high-end hardware.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PyTest or other modern Python testing tools.
- Proficiency with data search and analytics engines (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana).
- Hands-on experience with virtualization in Linux (QEMU/KVM).
- Background in CI/CD methodologies, infrastructure, and toolsets (Jenkins, Git).
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and understanding of C/C++ toolchain in Linux.
