Description
Anthropic is seeking a Policy Partnerships & Convenings Lead to build and lead the Partnerships and Convenings function within the Central Policy team.
The successful candidate will manage a team comprising both Policy Partnerships and Policy Events experts, and will be responsible for policy strategy with a wide range of multinational civil society organizations, industry actors, and other third parties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing policy partnerships programs
- Managing the policy events portfolio
- Building and maintaining relationships with key third-party stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining systems to track, measure, and optimize the partnerships and convenings portfolio
- Managing, developing, and retaining a small team
Minimum qualifications:
- Direct experience managing people doing substantive external-facing policy work
- Experience standing up credible programs in unfamiliar markets on compressed timelines
- Excellent cross-functional project and program management skills
- Ability to make judgment calls in ambiguous situations
- Understanding of U.S. federal, state, and local policy dynamics
Preferred qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience building and leading partnerships efforts
- Track record of effective advocacy with third-party and policy audiences
- Experience building and leveraging coalitions
- Experience working with communications teams to craft media and messaging campaigns
The annual compensation range for this role is $295,000-$345,000 USD.
