Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to build, operate, and continuously improve our production network systems spanning on-prem and cloud environments. The role focuses on delivering highly available, secure, and scalable network solutions while resolving sophisticated technical challenges and driving operational excellence.
This position requires deep technical ownership, independent problem solving, and close collaboration with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams.
Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across Layer 2 and Layer 3 environments, driving stability, performance, segmentation, and resiliency of production networks, leading investigation and resolution of sophisticated network incidents and performance issues, developing and improving routing, excess, and connectivity strategies, and owning VLAN architecture, VLAN tagging, routing between VLANs, and link aggregation configurations.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments, a solid grasp of TCP/IP and OSI model, switching & routing (L2/L3), VLANs, Trunking, Inter-VLAN routing, LACP / EtherChannel, OSPF, BGP, Cisco or equivalent enterprise platforms, NAT, Firewall policies, DNS, DHCP, and advanced tools to fix issues.
Preferred qualifications include high availability firewall architectures, load balancers (HAProxy), VMware / ESXi networking, Azure cloud networking, and Linux networking fundamentals.
Certifications such as CCNA / CCNP, Fortinet FCA / FCP are also advantageous.
