By joining Princess Cruises as a Chef De Partie Baker, you will be part of a team that delivers exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role involves supervising product delivery for the Bakery night shift, ensuring product quality, and maintaining company recipes. You will also be responsible for supervising breakfast production, conducting briefings with the Bakery staff, and controlling food consumption. As a Chef De Partie Baker, you will work closely with the Executive Chef/Chief Baker to ensure smooth operations and achieve cost targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising product delivery for the Bakery night shift in compliance with Company recipes
- Ensuring product quality in assigned stations through tasting and monitoring of mise-en-place during production
- Maintaining Company recipe files and ensuring that they are available to assigned staff
- Supervising breakfast production by the night shift staff
- Conducting briefings with the Bakery staff in the assigned station at the beginning of each shift
- Controlling food consumption in the assigned production areas through portion and production control
- Meeting Bakery cost targets as directed by the Executive Chef/Chief Baker
