Assistant Vice President, Credit Solutions

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President, Credit Solutions, to join our Innovation Banking team in San Francisco. As a critical member of a lean team, you will focus on due diligence, deal structuring, and portfolio management, as well as presenting with internal partners regarding the Innovation Banking division's debt portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients and prospects to build and maintain relationships
• Structure venture debt facilities and other bank product credit limits
• Perform key underwriting functions, including KPI analysis and financial modeling
• Ensure accurate internal documentation of debt facilities and financial reporting
• Build and maintain a portfolio management framework
• Review information and communicate on clients' performance internally
• Develop a firm understanding of HSBC's banking products and markets

Requirements:

• Experience in debt underwriting with a focus on the technology sector
• Ability to analyze business models, financial statements, and KPIs
• Ability to assess and handle credit risks
• Proficiency in Excel and databases such as Pitchbook or Crunchbase
