Description
We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to join the Content Engineering team at Microsoft AI. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the future of Microsoft Ads, driving product capabilities, partner integrations, and marketplace health initiatives.
The Microsoft Ads Marketplace connects advertisers with billions of daily queries across global search partners. As a Technical Program Manager, you will own critical components of this ecosystem, evaluating publisher-level and ecosystem-level performance, identifying structural opportunities, and influencing long-term marketplace direction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of marketplace capabilities for Search publishers
- Lead the delivery of new marketplace features and enhancements
- Ensure marketplace configurations, policies, and controls are aligned with business goals and partner commitments
- Drive strategic discussions with Search publishers to understand their marketplace commitments
- Continuously analyze marketplace health metrics
- Investigate anomalies or discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Build frameworks, dashboards, and processes to improve visibility into marketplace performance
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, product management, and business development
- Drive alignment across teams and manage program risks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
- Proficient use of data analysis tools (e.g., Kusto, SQL, Python)
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 – $274,800 per year.
