Description
As a Deployment Strategist at Palantir, you'll work with a driven and creative team to deploy software against complex problems. You'll synthesise disconnected streams of thought into a cohesive understanding of what the most important problem is, what the data means, what the product needs, and where the impact could be. Your mission is to uncover dots and connect them without knowing the shape they form. You'll immerse yourself in our customers' most intricate workflows, partner with customer teams, and explore the data to enable us to scale.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Going onsite and meeting with customer analysts to understand their critical questions and pain points
- Identifying relevant datasets through deep engagement with customer problems and workflows, and working with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate the data into a stable and extensible pipeline
- Working with the customer to build bespoke workflows for new user groups
- Leading training sessions to ensure the product meets user needs and is being used widely enough to have concrete impact on our partners' operations
- Presenting results and proposals to audiences ranging from analysts to C-suite executives
We value team members who aren't satisfied with surface-level answers and will dive into the details of the data. We're looking for individuals with extraordinary ability to take on open-ended problems in unstructured environments, who are adaptive and introspective, and willing to learn, teach, lead, and follow.
In this role, you can expect to travel 25-75% of the time, depending on location and team. Experience with programming, scripting, or statistical packages is a plus. Proficiency in both English and Japanese languages is required.
