Senior Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer, Air Dominance & Strike

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to join its Air Dominance and Strike organization.

The successful candidate will work on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment, developing and implementing modeling, simulation, and analysis solutions for aerospace systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain virtual representations of various vehicles
• Coordinate deployment and maintenance of vehicle models and simulation instantiations
• Work with multi-disciplinary subject matter experts to understand and model subsystem, system, and system of system dynamics
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand simulation requirements
• Own the end-to-end configuration of SITL, HITL, and PITL for test vehicles

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related technical discipline
• Experience with aerospace/aeronautical systems and/or subsea vehicles
• Experience in flight dynamics/platform physics and control
• Proficiency with C/C++
• Advanced proficiency with scientific computing systems (Mathworks products, scientific Python)
• Flight test data processing/sim correlation experience
• Experience with developing subsystem and system level models
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7 or more years of related experience
• Advanced proficiency with C/C++
• Flight test support experience
• Experience with SITL and HITL simulation infrastructure design, development, and deployment
• Experience with developing emulated/simulation interfaces for on-board avionics

Salary Range: $166,000-$253,000 USD
