As a Staff Engineer - Electromagnetics, Power & Systems Team, you will be responsible for delivering consulting services and conducting training sessions for customers, enhancing their adoption of simulation technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing simulation solutions for electric machines, wireless charging, power electronics design, PCB layout, magnetic actuators, and transformers, optimizing electromagnetic performance.
- Automating simulation workflows using Python APIs such as PyAEDT to improve efficiency and reproducibility.
- Establishing virtual product development workflows using advanced methodologies like model order reduction, control integration, validation, and design optimization.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop Multiphysics simulation workflows and conduct system performance analysis.
- Enabling simulation-driven component development and system validation using advanced simulation technologies.
- Working closely with customers to solve development and validation challenges, accelerating product development cycles.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of electromagnetic field theory, power electronics, and simulation methods for power loss and efficiency analysis, hands-on experience with Ansys Maxwell, Ansys Motor-CAD, Ansys TwinBuilder, Ansys Q3D Extractor, or similar simulation tools, proficiency in programming languages (Python, C#, Javascript) for automating simulation workflows, and knowledge of control development, validation, and testing (model-in-loop, hardware-in-loop) for electric machines or power electronics.
