IT Support Technician

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team at AVL Software and Functions GmbH in Regensburg, Germany.

As an IT Support Technician, you will provide first and second-level support to employees with IT inquiries, both onsite and remotely. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining clients (Windows, laptops, desktops, printers)
• Providing support for Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications
• Managing user accounts and access rights (e.g., Active Directory)
• Analysing and resolving hardware and software issues
• Conducting rollouts, updates, and release changes
• Maintaining and managing IT asset management (inventory, documentation, lifecycle)
• Collaborating on IT projects and optimising support processes
• Creating and maintaining user documentation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A completed vocational training programme in computer science or a similar qualification
• More than 3 years of professional experience
• Good practical knowledge of MS Windows (client, MS Office 365) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, networking, and software distribution, as well as ITIL
• Basic knowledge of VMware, VDI, and VPN is desirable
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• A valid driver's license
