Description
The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor will lead a team of GSOC operators to deliver a seamless and efficient customer service and incident management experience. This role involves developing and implementing SOPs for GSOC systems monitoring, incident response, and escalations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of GSOC operators who monitor for, and respond to, physical security incidents.
- Develop and implement emergency management protocols and procedures to enhance crisis response capabilities.
- Collaborate with Risk Intelligence, IT, and InfoSec to respond to incidents.
- Conduct regular training and exercises to prepare GSOC staff to respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with the Security Systems team to report malfunctions, conduct troubleshooting, and identify use cases for new tools.
- Implement and maintain a culture of customer service excellence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Studies or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in GSOC operations.
- Knowledge of physical security systems.
- Experience leading physical security incident response.
- Experience training GSOC operators.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to collaborate across business units to deliver on-time installation of systems and troubleshoot malfunctions.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to assess risk and make an informed decision during fast-paced incidents.
- Ability to develop and lead incident after-action reviews.
Work Environment:
- This role requires working in a well-lit room without windows. Extended hours may be necessary to support mission-critical operations.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., system hardware).
